Kriti Kharbanda-Pulkit Samrat's Love Affair: Anees Bazmee Says 'Baakiyo Ke Bhi Dosti Hai But Inki Jyada Hai'

It was recently that Kriti Kharbanda confirmed the reports of her dating Pulkit Samrat. The duo has been seeing each other for some time and they seem to be deeply in love with each other. While rumours about them being a couple have been doing the rounds of gossip mills for long, not many knew about their equation. Not even their Pagalpanti director Anees Bazmee. In a recent interview, he has said that all turned out to be good as Pulkit and Kriti's love affair benefitted the film.
To Bombay Times, Anees Bazmee stated that Pulkit and Kriti's real-life chemistry worked pretty well for Pagalpanti. He was quoted saying, "mujhe feel ho raha tha inki thodi dosti jyada ho rahi hai', baakiyo ke bhi dosti hai but inki jyada hai' (friendship between these two is something else and not just friendship). But Pulkit and Kriti being in love turned out beneficial for me as they are paired opposite to each other in the film and there were scenes where they need to hug and kiss each other. So that came naturally to them. Their off-screen love reflected in their characters and that benefited the film." Further adding that whatever is good for the film is good for him, Anees Bazmee seems quite happy that Pulkit and Kriti's real-life love got translated to the big screen.
Kriti is carrying out back to back interviews to promote Pagalpanti and it was to ETimes that she revealed about her relationship with Pulkit. Confirming the rumours, she said that she wanted to inform her parents first and then go all official with Pulkit. She was quoted saying, "No, they are not rumours. We are dating each other. In all honesty, I wanted my parents to know first that I’m dating someone and when you start seeing someone, it’s I think there’s a time for everything when you’re comfortable talking about it. Sometimes it can take five years, sometimes it can take five months. In our case, it was five months, but I’m in a very happy place and I have no qualms admitting that I am dating Pulkit Samrat."
